The third issue of Vestal Review is thematic. The theme is "flesh flash," erotica.

While we all intuitively know what erotica is, its definition, just like our senses sometimes,
often goes overboard, expending to include everything sexual. Yet the naked truth is clear to
a cool eye. Erotica is not porn. Erotica is more than just a sexual act. Erotica is a state of the
mind, not a state of the body. We all know that the brain is the biggest erotic organ. Inside its
gentle depths, our male and female essences intermingle, producing an offspring that appeals
to our minds. While the cliché goes "beauty is only skin deep," it only applies to shallow
beauty. Real beauty is as deep as our souls.

I hope that this issue will offer you a glimpse at the naked beauty of the written word, compact,
solid, and appealing. I hope that the instant gratification you will derive from these flashes will
last a long time.
